Norwalk Central Park
Norwalk Central Park is a 2-acre park located in Norwalk Central, west of the City State Bank Norwalk Fieldhouse. The park is adjacent to the City State Bank Norwalk Fieldhouse and the Gregg Young Sports Campus, and is managed by the City of Norwalk Park and Recreation Department.
Snyder & Associates and Shuck-Britson created the design concept for this park to enhance Norwalk Central with amenities such as:
  • Ice / Roller Rink
  • Bike Park / Pump Track
  • Mini-Pitch
  • Amphitheater with large greenspace
  • Integrated relax / play features along the perimeter of the park
Bike Trail
This concept includes a 10ft wide bike trail and walking path stretching from HWY 28 to E. 18th St.

Future: This project is currently in the planning and conceptual phases and will depend on future budgets, approvals, etc.
NorWALK of Fame
Discover Norwalk's Hometown Heroes through an interactive Walk of Fame, where each in Hero has their own star and hologram!
Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani will be one of the people recognized in the new NorWalk of Fame, which will commemorate many famous notable or highest achieving individuals that have connections to Norwalk.

Norwalk Easter Public Library
The Library is moving to Norwalk Central!
The City of Norwalk is planning to build a new library amid increasing demand for space and services. The new Norwalk Easter Library will be located in the Norwalk Central, near the corner of East 18th Street and Chatham Avenue.
In the meantime, visit the Library at its current location and explore all the resources and programs the Library has to offer!​
